Your Mindset from my mom

Mindfulness
Mindfulness

Create a safe space for mindfulness. My mom is one of my biggest inspiration in life. She always taught me growing up that anything you put your mind to do you can accomplish. And never use the word cant because you will block your blessings. No matter how far rea reaching things you may want or need in your life, always get into that mind set of tell yourself you can achieve it as long as you stay positive and focus. These are very positive life lessons you can pass on to your children.

Creating a safe space for mindfulness starts from within and often from the voice that first nurtured us. For me that voice has always been my mother's. The things she taught me in my 50 years have became the foundation of how I think, act and approach challenges.

From a young age ,my mom instilled in me a powerful belief you can achieve anything you put your mind to do. That phrase wasn't just a motivational quote on the wall, it was her truth and she lived it that is why she is 93 years old today. Through her strength, grace and relentless positivity, she showed me that our mindset is the most powerful tool we have.

One of her core teaching was about language- how the words we speak shapes the world we experience and live in. The words like never and can't blocks the road to self impose limits that block our blessings before it even begins. She encouraged me to replace doubt with belief ,fear with action and negativity with hope.

Mindfulness in many ways begin with a mindset. It's not just about breathing deeply or meditating in a quite room. It becoming aware of our thoughts and choosing the ones that serves us. My mom's wisdom taught me to slow down, reflect and redirect my focus when felt overwhelmed of discourage. She reminds me that no matter how far reaching a goal may seem, with belief and persistence, we can achieve anything.

As adults, it's easy to get caught up in the chaos of daily life, the responsibilities and constant noises pulling us in different directions. But I've learned that creating space for mindfulness isn't a luxury it's a necessity. It's in those quite, intentional moments that we can reconnect with our inner strength, hear our intuition and remember the wisdom passed down to us. When we give ourselves the permission to breathe, refocus and realign with what truly matters.

For me, creating a safe space starts with reading my bible verses and devotional quotes before I place my feet on the ground. Deep breathing and stretching and thanking God for his grace and mercy to see another day. One of my mom's favorite scriptures is "Philippians 4:13 KJV" now it's mine as well.

So today I encourage you to create your own safe space. Speak life into yourself, your goals and family. Be patient with your journey and remember the verse YOU CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS YOU. Peace be on to you and peace I leave with you. Thank you for reading. Pass it on and be a blessing to someone.
